A place to begin
When a familiar area feels tight again, it is natural to wonder what a different kind of bodywork might involve. Neurosomatic therapy at Advanced Neurosomatic Therapy starts with that question. Dallin Foskey combines a conversation about your experience with attention to posture, movement, and muscle tension, then uses that information to guide hands-on work. The aim is a thoughtful session with a clear reason behind the areas being addressed.
Assessment gives the session a starting point
A session is about more than choosing a body part from a list. Your daily activities, the positions you spend time in, and the movements you find difficult all provide useful context. A long day at a desk and a demanding training schedule can lead to very different conversations, even when two people describe tension in a similar place.
During an initial evaluation, Dallin considers posture and movement alongside what you share. This helps him decide where to focus and gives you an opportunity to describe what matters most: perhaps sitting more comfortably, feeling less restricted during a familiar movement, or understanding the plan for future visits.
Hands-on work, with room for your feedback
Neurosomatic therapy uses manual techniques directed at muscles and other soft tissues. At this practice, the work is informed by assessment and adjusted to the individual. You can ask what a technique is intended to address and tell Dallin how the pressure or position feels. Clear feedback helps keep the session focused on your comfort and goals.
Results differ from person to person. An assessment and a treatment plan are a way to organize care; they are not a promise of a particular outcome or a fixed number of appointments. The most useful next step is a conversation about your own situation.
Why Dallin approaches movement personally
Before becoming a therapist, Dallin was a Cirque artist. His experience with demanding performance, chronic pain, and performance-related injuries shaped his interest in bodywork and the way people move. That personal history brings a distinct perspective to his practice. You do not need a performance background to work with him; the starting point is your everyday experience. If you are curious about that background, his story offers another way to get to know the person behind the practice.
